Usability News Web site info

We'd like to announce the arrival of a news service for usability specialists.

Usability News (http://www.usabilitynews.com) has been launched by the British HCI Group of the British Computer Society to bring you the latest news, events and jobs in usability.

You'll find something there for all researchers and practitioners interested in good product design, and a chance to share points of view. As a regularly updated, dynamic service that everyone can contribute to, UN will provide coverage of what's happening now in the industry in Britain and the world. It will complement existing HCI resources by focusing on the hot topics of debate and representing all views.

But its most exciting feature is that it will belong to the industry itself. To be really effective, the site must act as an exchange - good practice, requests, ideas, discoveries, business partners - you name it. That depends on your participation. So let us invite you to take a look at what's on offer.

.. and to share your views: you can use the 'Contribute' button to send in opinions, articles for publication or ideas; or you can mail us at editor@usabilitynews.com.

Then, subscribe to the news service at: http://www.usabilitynews.com/subscribe/

Please, make the most of this resource..
