For May, we're going to take a tour of 3M's newly remodeled usability lab.
Newcomers to usability will get to see how 3M uses its lab for conducting usability tests. Experienced practitioners will see some new testing equipment including TwinView - a software suite developed locally to facilitate the testing process. As always, there will be ample time for networking and sharing information.
We also recently added a "literature table" to our meetings. This is a table where people are invited to share any resources, literature or other information they would like to make available to meeting attendees. Feel free to bring copies of any job openings, product information, announcements or other information you'd like to share.
Please email Lyle_Kantrovich@cargill.com if you plan to attend. Please indicate the number of guests, if any, you've invited.
Visitors and past members are welcome, but are asked to pay five dollars if they haven't paid chapter dues for the year.
Note that membership runs from January to December, so you'll want to renew your membership now that 2003 is here.
Check future e-mail notices for more details.
Do you have an idea for a future meeting topic or know someone you think would be a good invited speaker? Contact Lyle (lyle_kantrovich@cargill.com) with your suggestions.
