Julie Nowicki was our guest speaker from the National UPA. Her topic was certification for Usability Professionals. She discussed:
Most of the people in our local group (that attended) struggled with the pros and cons. At this point there is not an easy process that will obtain all of the objectives. However, the majority of the group would like to have some type of certification.
Since the PowerPoint presentation that Julie gave us is too large to attach you can find it on our local Web site. Marc has been kind enough to post it there for your viewing pleasure.
I have also attached the Usability Professional Certification survey Julie previously sent out. If you haven't completed it please do so.
