Job Summary

We are seeking a Leader to be our Ecommerce Manager and functional owner of our Ecommerce program and website qbp.com. This individual will inspire a shared vision, model the way, challenge the process, enable others to act, encourage the heart and deliver great individual and team results. This is a newly formed position resulting from the rapid growth in usage of the website with over 75% of QBP orders being submitted through qbp.com. The Ecommerce Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the vision to make qbp.com the best internet site for sales, sales support and product information in the distribution industry. The person in this role will work cross functionally with the IT, Marketing, Sales, Purchasing and Customer Service departments and customers to specify, recommend and prioritize enhancements to the site. In addition, the Ecommerce Manager and Ecommerce team will have direct accountability for keeping content and data on the site current.

Basic Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the Ecommerce field with a proven track record as a skilled leader
• 4 year degree in an applicable field, advanced degree preferred
• Strong connection to the bicycle industry and bicycle retailing
• Demonstrated, well developed skills in the areas of negotiation, project management and process improvement including experience in Lean, Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies
• Strong grasp of Ecommerce technology, platforms and trends. Ability to quickly learn the emerging technical aspects of Ecommerce and see the most promising opportunities in a rapidly changing environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• High level of personal productivity. Quick to execution that gets results
• Encourages and acts on personal critical feedback. Has a willingness to learn and shift to new perspectives based on acquirement of new information.
• Willingness to engage in difficult feedback conversations
