Technical Job Requirements:
- Strong software design experience of user-centered desktop applications
- Ability to improve usability of existing user interfaces
- Ability to define and drive consistency across multiple applications with respect to look and feel
- Ability to define, champion and mentor human-computer interaction and user-centered design methodologies with-in a software development organization
- 5 - 10 years Windows User interface development using Microsoft C#,.NET and/or C/C++
- Background in human-factors or ergonomics
- Ability to design, build, and maintain applications
- Experience with creating and maintaining design documentation
- Experience with quality assurance process.
Proven ability to gather complex business data requirements from internal business
Qualifications
- Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 "MOSS" Development
- Ability to guide and mentor other software developers
- Detail oriented with a thorough and systematic approach to problem solving
- Demonstrated ability to work in a high energy, fast paced environment
- Working knowledge of all phases of a software product lifecycle and software business models
- Motivated to learn and create new and efficient processes and technologies
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Proactive thinker
- Ability to guide and share experience with other team members
- Self starter/self initiator
Ability to work in a team setting
Education:
Bachelor’s degree (BSEE, BSCS, BSCE) from a four-year college or university, and 5 — 10 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. |
