RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Collaborate with all project team members and project stakeholders to ensure the development of consistent, effective, user friendly systems.
· Work directly and indirectly with customer to understand the business workflow and usability needs to help ensure business design requirements are met.
· Help conduct focus user groups, research, and testing to measure concepts when developing design schematics for processes and enhancements.
· Assist in gathering UI requirements that impact navigation,page flow, organization of screen/page content and designs to support prototyping, and final development of the crop insurance processing systems.
· Translate user needs in to visually robust requirements documentation which may include wireframes, concept models, storyboards, flowcharts, detailed UI designs, site maps, and related UI design deliverables.
· Support training material development for newly designed software
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
· 3-5 years experience in UI Architecture design for complex transactional systems for both web and desktop based systems.
· Experience with desktop applications a plus.
· BA/BS degree in software design, computer science or related discipline. Position requires knowledge of Human Factors and Usability Standards.
· Demonstrated ability to prototype new UI concepts and work through implementation with the project team.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills applicable when working with end users, business analysts, and developers to translate requests in a consistent manner.
· Experience in creating user friendly designs for complex business processes that span multipleproducts.
· Diverse portfolio that includes detailed page schematics,interaction flow diagrams, site maps, and wireframes.
· Strong organization skills, detailed oriented, and experience leading complex projects with minimal manager interaction in a team environment.
