Aquents Minneapolis area client is looking for a Usability Research Lead who can lead research studies for significant .com projects and for internal clients and affiliated brands.  A majority of the position includes working with third party vendors to deliver usability research to address client needs.  Other responsibilities include:

- Generating research proposals in a timely fashion

- Coordinating and managing all aspects of research delivery to ensure quality, relevance, and timeliness of delivery including screener development, moderator’s guide development, recruiting progress, research execution, data analysis, and delivery of insights

- Actively keep internal clients engaged in process.  Schedule meetings and provide weekly updates

 

The Usability Research Lead will partner with internal IA//UA to design and execute usability studies on on-going enhancements to the .com site:

- Design research methodology

- Create recruiting screeners

- Outsource recruiting to 3rd party and manage progress and quality of recruit

- Create moderator’s guide in partnership with internal team

- Moderate usability interviews

- Analyze data and deliver insights to team

 

 BASIC POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelors degree or professional certification in human factors, anthropology, cognitive psychology or related field

- At least two years of professional experience conducting usability studies, preferably for Web Sites

- Excellent project and client management skills

- Effective written and verbal communication skills

- E-commerce experience and retail experience is desirable
